We (2x60+) had a wonderful time at the Alberthoeve in August 2022. It's a lovely, quiet campsite with spacious pitches and clean sanitary facilities. You can also enjoy a fantastic holiday with your horse, complete with indoor stalls, pasture access, and a wonderful outdoor ride through endless forests and heathland. There are countless cycle paths in the beautiful Drenthe countryside, and the campsite is centrally located in the Drent-Frisian Forest. The Dwingelderveld, Holtingerveld, Fochteloerveen, and Veenhuizen are all within cycling distance. In short, highly recommended.

Judging by the photos plus the mention of spacious bordered pitches up to 250 square meters, we checked in here last year after making a reservation. Arrival was at 2:00 PM as stated, but we turned out to be the last ones; however, the pitches as described turned out to be occupied by "regular guests." We were squeezed in somewhere on a small field, but thanks for that, and left for a neighboring campsite where we stayed with pleasure. SVR campsites are generally small-scale, but this is actually a fairly large campsite. It also soon became clear that this campsite is largely geared towards horse lovers.
