In short: - Read the bad reviews! - Service. We never saw it. People from the street could walk into the pool area, no one checked the wristbands, no one answered our questions about reservations, there was dirt, dangerous and unpleasant locks on the beds, and the equipment described in the brochure for the cottage was missing... - And most importantly, the noise from the highway, which is literally 50 meters from the campsite! What birds are you writing about in the morning? - People at the playground with their speakers drowning out everything (well, and the noise from the highway too 😜)

We stayed at Vakantiepark Capfun - De Scheepsbel for a week with my children. The staff were very kind and the park itself is beautiful and well-organized. However, I want to be honest in my review. Unfortunately, my children were physically bullied by much older Dutch children inside the indoor play area. This experience was very upsetting. In addition, we also felt uncomfortable due to the way some Dutch visitors looked at us – it felt discriminatory. I have been visiting Capfun parks once or twice every year since 2022, in different locations, and I always had good experiences. I know that Dutch people are generally kind and respectful, but this time we were truly surprised and saddened by the behavior of some children and their parents. It even made us consider leaving the campsite earlier than planned to spend time outside the park. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to make the experience better and safer for all families.

We had 9 nights here in the nature, surrounded by trees and greenery. Waking up to the sound of birds at 5am and opening our chalet door to be directly in the nature was wonderful. Our chalet had everything, it was modern with a fully equipped kitchen, large shower and 2 bedrooms. Ideal area to 'get away from it all's and simply enjoy the surroundings. There is also a beautiful pool, with plenty of activities for children. A snack bar and kiosk were available too. We would love to come back, however, we had very noisy neighbours the first weekend who did not respect the 10pm curfew for music and chatting outdoors. If we could be in a quieter area of the campsite, that would be great. Also lovely places to visit nearby, A.Vogel gardens, Nunspeet for shopping and market, Elberg and Kampong are old towns. Highly recommend for families
