Just home from a wonderful week in a safari tent on a beautiful, quiet campsite. With a beautiful view and such friendly owners. No negatives found. Spacious safari tent with private shower and toilet. And a lovely covered area. You can also book breakfast. We enjoyed some lovely bike rides and sailing on Tsjukemar. And at Fûke in Echten, you can enjoy a delicious meal with a beautiful view.

Friendly owners, clean and decent sanitary facilities. It's great to camp on a farm; the chickens roam freely and the sheep and cows greet you from your terrace. The gypsy wagon was cozy and inviting. The surrounding area is also lovely (we'd never been this far north in the Netherlands before). The basic price is certainly reasonable. The total price is a bit high if you include extras (e.g., kitchen towels, bed linens, cleaning), although that is of course up to the guest to choose. Small tip: the website lists two prices for the gypsy wagon. It is actually €65 per night.

A family-run campsite with lovingly furnished rental accommodations. The owner speaks excellent German. If you're looking for peace and quiet and a taste of country life, this is the perfect place (our breakfast companions were always the rooster and his flock of hens). The optional breakfast looked tempting (we'll definitely try it on our next visit). The sanitary facilities were good and clean. We only deducted one star for the communal area/kitchen, which was rather uninviting. There's definitely room for improvement there, but I'm looking forward to our next visit when Annemarie and Bart have solved this problem with their creativity and care. There's plenty to explore nearby. We recommend the boat tour with the forester in the nature reserve, the Ecocathedral, and Olt Stoutenburght Castle.
