Perfect little spot in Friesland! We had a great stay with our motorhome at "Recreatie in de Tuin" in Menaam. It’s a small, cosy site with about 15 pitches, which makes it feel very private and relaxed. The setup is clever: you park on solid gravel, but there’s a nice strip of grass right next to your van for your chairs. A big plus: Each pitch has its own electricity and water connection. Since we visited during the colder season, the water at the pitches was turned off, but we could easily fill up our fresh water tank at the check-in building – so it was no problem at all. Electricity worked perfectly. Facilities: The sanitary rooms and the dishwashing area were exceptionally clean and, most importantly, had hot water, which was great. There is also a washing machine and dryer on-site. The location at the northern edge of the village is spot on. There’s a supermarket just a 500m walk away, yet our night was remarkably quiet and peaceful. Check-in is very easy: You can either use the Campercontact app or scan a QR code in the check-in building. The owners are incredibly friendly. We used electricity, sanitary room, Wi-Fi, freshwater and greywater disposal—all worked perfectly. I’m not 100% sure about the chemical toilet disposal as we didn't need it this time, but everything else was top-notch. A really well-maintained and friendly place. We’ll definitely be back!

A beautiful motorhome pitch with excellent sanitary facilities, electricity and water hookups, nestled in the green expanse of Friesland. Wi-Fi is also available. Highly recommended! 👍

Beautiful, new, and very well-maintained campsite. Pitches with electricity and water hookups. Excellent sanitary facilities with showers and toilets. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Overnight stay, all-inclusive, is €20, payable online via PayPal, credit card, or cash in the mailbox. Grocery store within walking distance. We would love to come back.
