Beautiful, splendid place where they have rabbits roaming all over the park as pets. Absolutely gorgeous!

Just back from a fantastic weekend! Top location. We slept in the panoramic tent. Wow! Really awesome. It had all the amenities for a great weekend. A tea mug and bottle opener would have been a nice addition :), but otherwise, everything was taken care of. The accommodation staff was very friendly. And the staff at Mennorode were also very friendly and personable. And committed to making your stay enjoyable. A big thank you to them too. The shower building and dishwashing area were a bit dated, but for us, that was a plus... wonderful showering in a warm toilet building! Just a nice, decent spray and mixer tap. It was very cold this weekend, but the radiant heaters and the electric fireplace made it very cozy, so we had a great time in the tent as well. The picnic basket was a real treat. Definitely worth repeating. :)

The Globes are beautifully situated on the edge of the campsite, with the terrace positioned to provide plenty of privacy. The mood lighting is fairytale-like. Absolutely perfect. The interior is atmospheric, but we moved the chairs to the side, because if you sit on them and look outside, you are looking at a beam. So we sat comfortably on the rugs, played games, and were cozy. The new sanitary building is truly amazing, and close by. Good washing facilities, even with an ironing board and iron. You can do the dishes in a separate room. I only missed an information folder in the tent. That would be handy. Unfortunately, the Globe had not been cleaned or inspected before arrival, and that is very disappointing. There was a lot of dust and such on the floor. The outside was covered in bird droppings. Another sign that they don't inspect the tents beforehand. The fridge was moldy, which isn't surprising, as it was turned off and closed. A big no-no. So I had to clean that first. - -The box spring bases were dirty and worn out. Clearly cast-offs from the hotel. The pillows were worthless, and you could feel that there was dampness in the beds. That didn't make for a very comfortable sleep. - The power cable could be better concealed. It enters through the outer canvas on the side of the tent, allowing vermin to crawl inside, and there were plenty of them, in the form of many earwigs. Brrrr -On the 1st morning, breakfast didn't include an egg and 2 bottles of juice that were past their expiration date. On day 2, there was an egg included, and we were able to take a substantial lunch with us again. But 3 coffee capsules isn't enough, though. I bought a pack and left the rest behind. Despite that, we had a few wonderful days. We enjoyed cycling in the area, appreciated nature, saw a deer with a fawn and a wild boar (So cool 💚), and on the way back, we also took a quick look at Paleis het Loo. A nice piece of history.
