I won't say much about this wonderful campsite for nature lovers, as it's meant to be peaceful. There are several covered areas. The chickens aren't allowed out until they've all laid their eggs. In late summer, the trees are full of fruit and nuts. There's no Wi-Fi. In Bedum, there's a surprisingly wide selection of shops just a short bike ride away, including a spacious and well-stocked thrift store. The city of Groningen is also easily accessible by bike.

Beautiful campsite. Unfortunately, we only stayed three nights. Booking was straightforward. The reception was very friendly. The sanitary facilities were clean. I just wish the spiders in the building had been removed. The two camping areas were beautiful, with cozy corners, plenty of trees, shade and sun, and water. The chickens and ducks roamed freely. You can buy coffee or tea, ice cream, and other drinks. They also sell homemade jams, chutneys, etc. You can easily cycle 10 km through the beautiful countryside to the Martinikerk in the city center. Since the campsite is organic, you can't empty your toilet with chemical toilet fluid. However, you can purchase organic products if you arrive with an empty toilet. If we come back to Groningen, we'd love to stay here again.

Amazing camping site. The owner are extremely friendly and the place is beautiful and quiet.
