I spent two nights at the campsite during a cycling trip. The city center is easy to reach by bike, and a supermarket is also within cycling distance. Unfortunately, I had bad luck as a group at the site did not observe quiet hours and partied loudly.

Not sure if we just got unlucky with Formula One weekend / fans, but it was the noisiest campsite I have ever stayed in. Very loud music playing from two different sides of us right through until 11pm, and started back up at 9.30am. Camp managers are onsite and didn’t address it. We could hear belching, cans of beer opening, , singing, chatting, spitting.. it was pretty grim, but perhaps this was just the one bad group of people. The location isn’t great - near a noisy road, behind an industrial estate (IKEA etc) but you can walk to the train station very easily. On the plus side - cafe on the site did some really good very basic food - pizza, burger etc, and they were nice. The campsite seems well maintained - showers not very warm but nice and clean. Near a pretty river, and green area. Sound of flights is pretty constant though. It’s possible it is quieter when F1 isn’t on, but it’s cramped and we could hear people’s radios, people chatting, people opening and closing van doors etc and it will always be like that. So if you are noise sensitive, it’s not for you. We paid 21 euros for two people and a tent, so you get what you pay for! Staff were nice and they accommodated us short notice. For me The 2 star is about noise and the partying.

A charming campsite where you can park your motorhome, pitch a tent, or stay in one of the cabins, making it a great base for trips and sightseeing. Well-organized parking and clean, well-maintained sanitary facilities. Showers cost €1 for 5 minutes, and both the washing machine and dryer cost €5 each. The restaurant is open from 6 pm (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). There’s a table tennis and table football area, a small playground for children, and overall a friendly atmosphere. Prices are reasonable.
