Great place for camping, bright and spacious, beautiful nature

We travelled across the Netherlands and stayed at a number of camp sites. I have left reviews for every campsite and this is the only one that is negative. Every other site was brilliant. We were trying to work out what is going on here. The lack of investment in the sanitary facilities is bewildering. The reception area has been heavily invested in and yet customers couldn't care less what that looks like (advertisement I presume?) Every night the site was fully booked. It was very busy and very big. Holiday camps etc. Sometime we had to wait for a shower. the fist night the showers were literally freezing. I don't think there is an excuse for this. I also found it slightly insulting that one of the activities on offer was an "ice bath experience" I did not need an ice bath, I had an "ice shower experience" most nights. You couldn't wash up properly. You couldn't wash your hands. no soap. Cleanliness not great. I did complain to the reception lady who was lovely and day 2 the water improved. Unfortunately it did not last. At nearly £100 per night to stay (a hotel would be the same price), I think we are entitled to a warm (at least) shower preferably hot. The sanitary facilities could not cope with the amount of people. It needs investment. A special shout out to the man who worked in Spar, he was lovely. I would not stay here again

Good camp site with clean, modern facilities. Great location in cycling and walking distance of Zandvoort Circuit. The dunes are great to explore and you're a stones throw from the beach.
