Dog friendly and we enjoyed the individual access to power and water. The areas are wonderful for long walks. It is very convenient with a grocery store and pizzaria by the entrance. It is a very well stocked grocery store with anything you need. The pizzas are also good! The miniature golf is not great. The campground also has a really great play area. It is also very quiet. However the pitches lack grass and in rain it turns into a mess. The beach and dunes are amazing however the walk to the beach is far for kids. We drove south to another beach where we could park near by. The facilities are basic. A bit institution like. It is ok clean however I noticed the women’s bathroom ran out of toilet paper and the sinks were always full of hair. The bathrooms are also dark. The camp ground does not supply any paper towels for clean up so the bathrooms and the dish wash areas can be a mess. The communal kitchen consist of a few stove tops and a micro wave. We just visited a campground in Denmark which provided everything. Campers used the provided rags, paper and soap to clean up after themselves so everything was very clean and tidy. Most people are considerate if they are provided with the means to clean up. At the Danish campground they cozy communal areas with chairs and tables. Candles were lid at night and they had bonfire areas and they had a fully stocked and working kitchen. At the Dr Maartenszee campground they provide hardly anything and it is more expensive than the camp ground in Denmark. Also the WI-FI is very very poor. We could hardly get it to work. This is a problem for campers who are not Dutch and a cause of annoyance. Overall it is just ok. It’s very basic.

Very good camping, despite it reminds of a ghetto site. Everything worked fine, good sanitary, and a nice shop. The dunes offer nice walk.

Nice campsite. Nice location. Little hike through the dunes to the beach. Dunes are ok for paragliding, but you need the right amount of wind, they are not too steep. The sanitary could use some more attention!
