Small campsite with seasonal pitches and only a few vacant spots, in beautiful surroundings with good Wi-Fi. The campsite has a lot of overdue maintenance (work is being done on it), such as: Want to shower? Check first if the boiler is working (last inspection October 2022). Urinal door: has a new lock, but it doesn't close. Last shower > cold/hot water at the sink swapped, and at the dishwashing area with double sinks, don't look behind you smells terrible in warm weather. Cycling on the grass by the campsite is prohibited; how do you come up with something like that at a campsite? The campsite owner, WIM (who also has another job in consultation), has absolutely no interest in his camping GUESTS and therefore does not show up at his campsite. We made a reservation (and a deposit) in March (4 months in advance), but upon arrival, our reserved spot was occupied!!! After 3 days, WIM was walking around the campsite and we spoke to him about it. This campsite owner does not have the capacity to definitively reserve a spot at such a small campsite with so few vacant spots. Fortunately, there is a couple with a permanent seasonal pitch who do all the work that Wim doesn't see or doesn't want to see. Hans does almost all the maintenance and his wife Marja is a true hostess; she welcomes the guests, does all the cleaning, and everything looks very neat as a result. They could well be the owners of the campsite. We were here 5 years ago as well, but Wim, as a campsite owner, you receive 20 x 20 euros per day and 7 days a week (2800 euros) and do almost nothing at all; you need to show yourself as a host and keep the schedule up to date. Because if Hans and Marja weren't there, the campsite would have become a mess. I hope Hans and Marja receive this appreciation from you; they certainly do from us. Finally, Wim, I hope that in your work in healthcare you communicate more and do pay attention to your clients.

Beautifully situated campsite surrounded by stunning nature. Facilities are adequate, and the restrooms are clean but could use some updating. Ineke and Wim (managers) are very friendly and hospitable.

A small, quiet campsite. The owners are very friendly, and the site offers plenty of natural surroundings, with plenty of bird song to listen to, and few sounds of civilization. The restrooms are very clean, rustic, and no-frills, just like camping in its original form. There's a lovely recreation area in the former barn, also simply but nicely decorated. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the peace and quiet and the natural surroundings.
