Camping "The Zwinhoeve" is a campsite that for me, stands out for its location. Next the nature reserve "The Zwin" and surrounded by beautiful Dutch beaches. It's located close to Cadzand, Knokke, Sluis and the city of Bruges, of you want a day out. A short walk up the steps takes you onto the beach which for us with kids and a dog is fantastic. The campsite itself is fine. The camping spots are big and spacious to fit all kinds of tents and caravans. It's a family campsite and it's also pretty quiet later at night which is also good for having young kids. The cleanliness is where the camping loses a star for me. There are two shower/toilet buildings. One is new and really nice and kept clean properly. The other is very old and to me wasn't cleaned properly either. After a 3 week vacation the inside of the urinals never saw a brush and the smell at the end of the was comparable to a football stadium toilet. This made me walk a bit further to the new building. For it being 2024, the WiFi is not very good. Sometimes the connection is fine and 2 minutes later you are disconnected. Could be better. The kids team is good and fun. Almost every evening there is something to entertain the kids which is great. Our two young children enjoyed the music and dancing. The restaurant is top notch with very good food served. I can really recommend eating there a few evenings!!! The snackbar is also very good and the fries are great. Overall the staff at the campsite are delightful! Everyone is friendly and has a smile on their face! Camping "The Zwinhoeve" is all in all a fine campsite and worth your visit!

The camping is very well located, just behind the beach. I guess this is why we paid 42€ for a tent and 2 people. This is double the price of the other camping we have been to. The spot they gave us was marked with tractor tires without grass so it was far from flat and we slept on dirt. Electricity and water were available at the spot. The showers and bathroom are normal. If you have kids, there are lots of games and animations.

Passed here during my bicycle trip through Europe. As many places in the Netherlands it is really good organised with good conditions nice showers and a lot of place for camping. Unfortunately I have to say I had very loud and drunk German neighbours who were quite racist on comments, luckily I didn't felt bother by them had better things to do😅 it's not far away from the beach worth a visit
