Charming Campsite in southern Netherlands, ideally placed if heading back to the UK as easy reach of Dunkirk and Calais. The most wonderful friendly hosts too. Thank you.

Known as a mini-campsite, it is located near large wheat fields and other farms and mini-campsites, a few kilometers from the village of Veer. It has a soft grassy surface where campers, caravans, and tents can comfortably park. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, although they speak Dutch and little English, but we understood each other perfectly. The area is quiet, a truly relaxing place, kept tidy and clean. We stayed two nights to cycle around the island. It was a fabulous ride. A map of the cycle paths can be requested at reception. Highly recommended for those seeking peace and quiet. It has comfortable restrooms with showers and an indoor storage room for dishes and clothes. A beautiful children's play area. Payment is cash only.

Beautiful camping pitches! Lovely, lush green grass. Two mobile homes are available for rent, the rest are for tents and caravans. In the middle, there's a playhouse (log cabin - play saloon) for children and swings. There's also a room with a kitchenette for washing dishes, refrigerators, and lots and lots of toys. There are also books to read or exchange for adults and children. This is a true paradise for children. One of the stables also has several bicycles and children's vehicles available for borrowing. There are four horses in the stable that graze freely in the pasture during the day. The sanitary facilities aren't the most modern, but they're spotlessly clean! They're exceptionally well-maintained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and easy to chat with. The location is excellent for visiting Veere, Middelburg, and Domburg. We definitely want to come back!
