I called up to check if they were open during the winter season (November), they were, so I drove there and popped into the reception. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I was offered the choice of walking round the site before I chose a location to park my van, which was really nice. The campsite was fantastic, I only stayed one night but wish I had stayed longer. The place is on the edge of the forest and a national park. Facilities were faultess and I will save the place for future travels across Europe. The price too for an overnight stay was excellent value too. Thanks to the staff, see you again.

Camping in a national park with our motorhome. 1st class location, with excellent showers and toilets. Cycling and walking paths to lovely locations. Highly recommended.

The camp grounds are nestled at the start of the woods of the national park, its green and spacious with enough spots under the trees and in the open. The location allows for great biking and hiking paths and is chill enough if you just want to rest. We took a spot with private facilities and it was top notch. The only downside was the early closing time of the Reception, 5pm., but they'll welcome you later if you call and specify.
