Welcoming owners, very clean and well-kept facilities. Slightly pricier than other campsites. We were a group of 2 campervans and a tent and they were able to accommodate us at short notice. 5 kids with us made good use of the slide, see-saw, pedal cars, trampoline and climbing frame. It was great to see the cows trooping past the field to their barn every day and a few of the cows even gave birth whilst we were there. Although we didn't get to see any births, we did see the calves afterwards. That and seeing the tractors (with friendly beeps from the farmer) made the stay lots of fun. You're a 40ish drive or bus trip from Amsterdam which is obviously well worth a visit but the closer town of Volendam is also absolutely lovely. Be warned, this is a working farm/camp site so if you're not prepared for it to smell and sound like a farm, don't book. I, however, loved that this was a working farm and would definitely visit again.

Wonderful very small site on a working dairy farm. Owners really helpful and friendly. Excellent facilities and great cycling routes from site. Large pitches with some shade. Perfect for a few days or longer. Close and easy cycle to Valkendam and Marken Island .

Small, friendly, family-run campsite on a dairy farm. The facilities are spotlessly clean. Good base to explore surrounding area. Walking distance from Monnickendam and Edam. Great also for cyclists.
