We spontaneously booked a three-day stay at the campsite with our campervan. We were there at the beginning of July, and the site was quite empty. Before entering the campsite, you have to register at reception. There, you receive an access card for the campsite and a card for the swimming pool. The staff at reception are very friendly. Not everyone speaks German, but you can easily get by with English. Bring your ID with you when you register. The star rating is mainly for the great location and the on-site amenities (restaurant, mini-market, swimming pool, etc.). It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach and a maximum of 5 minutes to the mini-market. ... Positive aspects: - the proximity to the beach - the possibility of taking the dog to the beach and into the water with it - the size of the campervan pitches (part gravel, part grass) - the small off-leash dog area at the campsite - the EuroParcs complex with its holiday homes and canals - the fresh water connection at each pitch - that the beach was completely empty at the end of June - the size and layout of the sanitary facilities and showers What we didn't like so much: - pitches completely in the sun, unfortunately no shady trees - sanitary facilities not entirely clean, especially the showers - soap in the sanitary facilities wasn't replenished regularly - temperature control in the shower was a bit tricky, the temperature fluctuated Overall, the campsite feels a bit like the park's unloved stepchild. Weeds grow along the sides of the pitches, the sanitary facilities are somewhat dingy, and the site itself is located next to the complex's building materials storage and green waste disposal area. The walk to the resort is thankfully not far. Since the area is surrounded by fields and still water, you should expect some mosquitoes and horseflies, so pack mosquito repellent. The price varies depending on the length of your stay. One night for 2 people and 1 dog costs €36.80. For stays of 2 nights or more, the price is €30.60 (this may vary seasonally). There is a flat rate of €3.50 per night for electricity. The price includes access to the park grounds and therefore to the beach, mini-market, restaurant, etc., as well as the indoor swimming pool. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but the mini-market offers pastries and rolls, canned goods, pasta, and other items, as well as refrigerated food. For us, the price was reasonable, and we were able to enjoy the hot days at the beach. We would come again if the sanitary facilities were better maintained.
