What a lovely and peaceful mini-campsite. Very spacious pitches; do book early though, as there are very few spots for transients. The sanitary facilities, however, leave something to be desired, but they are scheduled to be renovated in 2026, and *that* is certainly not an unnecessary luxury. Friendly welcome in the "accompanying shop," and regarding the wines produced here, ALL PRAISE! Delicious!! The accompanying restaurant has delicious platters, especially the seafood. But the delicious charcuterie board is not to be missed either. Unfortunately, the staff sometimes comes across as a bit rushed, likely due to a staff shortage that I, as a guest, shouldn't really notice..... The tour of the vineyard was particularly enthusiastic and explained very well!!

Small campsite, the lights and toilets didn't work, and we reported them twice, but nothing happened. The campsite itself was doing renovations next to the campsite. The men started at 6:00 AM, and then we reported that nothing was done. It all feels rather uninviting; you miss the atmosphere of a small campsite. We stayed there for a week and didn't see or hear from anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed the campsite with its beautiful private sanitary facilities. It is a very well-maintained base for visits to Veere and Zierikzee. There is also a very good restaurant on site to sample the fantastic local wines. Highly recommended.
